Pure Telecom 500mbps fibre over a ESB Network. Installed by Siro.

Its fast via cable…

Its fast over WI-FI on relatively modern devices… (iPhone 13 Pro Max)

And its fast over WI-FI on older devices… (iPhone 6s+)

I will be testing speeds many many times for the next few weeks. I will update this post if I notice any issues / fluctuations…

Thank You Pure Telecom for turning this whole stressful situation into a thing of a past… Thank You for proving to me that I made the right choice by going with You guys…

Edit 1: Its the same day. 13:30 – I got a call from my personal hero. He rang to check up on how everything went. That’s one of the reasons I love my ISP. They care. Enough said. This guy – deserves a raise and a cold pint. No internet speeds issues detected.

I still cannot believe it…

I got a gift from my brother. Ghost Recon: Wildlands on steam. 90% off. €5… SWEET… But… the game is 70 GB in size… So I started downloading and I thought I will experiment a bit. I have turned on a download speed limiter. Normally I would set it to 20Mbps because if I set it to full 25Mbps it would more than likely kill the internet usage. Not kill kill. Slow to a crawl – so I always kept 5Mbps for the browsage purposes… This time I went “Full send” at 25Mbps…

As I expected. IF I forced my family to use slow internet for about 8 hours I could play the game tonight…

And then I removed the download limit…

And it blew my freaking mind… Less than 17 minutes…?! Yes… I feel like I am cheating…

The most bizarre thing happened. My friend started complaining about his internet being slow… and instead of saying “Same here bro…” I FELT SORRY FOR HIM?! That has never happened before! When other people had 100Mbps broadband I was using a s**t 3,6Mbps mobile connection from Three Ireland… I kept dropping offline. I kept dropping speeds. Overcrowded masts and support calls… ANGER! When my friends were using 250Mbps fibre broadband I was working with 16Mbps “VDLS Fibre” over a copper from eir Ireland… And now they are complaining about the internet speed… and its 14:00 and the game is downloaded… Less than 17 minutes… I LOVE IT!!! KEEP IT UP PURE TELECOM!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
